I’m always a little confounded as to what to write on this page. Do I write something factual that reads like a resume or a story, possibly the one that talks about when photography first captured me and became the leading passion in my life? I’ve decided to settle for a little of both.
It was in Mr. Cooper’s photography class at Nevada Union High School in my junior year that I first fell head-over-heels in love with photography. I followed my passion in college to The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, and then back again to California where

I finished out my Associate’s Degree in Photography and later, my Bachelor’s in English. During that time I worked as an assistant at several photography studios and photographed friends and weddings on the side. But it wasn’t until years later in 2006, with the encouragement of friends and family, that I decided to make it official and opened Laura Lynne Photography.
Since that time, my little studio has grown with a family of clients that now includes babies, children, families, seniors, boudoir, weddings and commercial clients such as the Sacramento Kings.
